Reluctantly, we must offer our much loved Moody 34 for sale. She is a fin keel centre cockpit version.
She is an excellent example of the original Moody 34 class in very good condition, fully operational, having been maintained to a high standard by all the previous owners. It is with great reluctance that we must sell her, for personal reasons. She has been used for trips all across the Thames Estuary, down as far as Ramsgate and the Medway, as well the Colne, the Blackwater, the Crouch and her home waters of the Orwell and Stour. She is well equipped with new plotter, Raymarine backbone, autohelm, etc. and exceptionally well fitted out for comfortable living, with the highlight being her stern cabin with a fully slatted, custom fitted mattress. She also has a proper fridge and even a fitted cocktail cabinet!
She sails easily and well, never a racer but safe and secure. We sail her easily with just two people. We have had her out in up to Force 6-7 without issues. She is maneuverable under power, and her engine, the original unit, has been well maintained and is utterly reliable.
