Looking for a new home, Brunton Autoprop 3 Blade H5-470mm /18.5in roller bearing folding/feathering/self-pitching propeller, right hand rotation, 1.25" (~31mm see photo) shaft diameter; nut thread: M20X2.5
Bought new, in excellent condition with only one dent on back of shaft entrance that doesn't affect performance (see photos) - almost new! Off of our Moody 38 with Volvo MD22L Engine 48hp, taken off as we sadly lost our boat in a fire (deck, did not affect prop).
Comes with new anode kit and grease nipple adapter for greasing - has been greased routinely and kept clean. Does not include key as this would normally already be with the boat's shaft. This is the better (and more costly) roller bearing version for better performance and wear resistance.
We really enjoyed this prop - will outperform any fixed blade propeller on a sailing boat, and any of the other feathering / folding propellers. We could run the engine with less RPMs and saved fuel. Also, with our keel, better handling than the fixed prop.
You can see from the last two images Autoprop in drive mode and then reversing the blades swing through 180 degrees and produce the same thrust as in forwards and when sailing the blades feather automatically, reducing drag by up to 85%.
“Our tests show the Autoprop achieved 6 knots at 2100 rpm compared to 2500 from our standard prop and most of the others on test” YACHTING MONTHLY
£2000 ONO - new this spec is now over £4,000 so a bargain at half price.
Any questions just ask. In Somerset but frequently in Southampton area.
PS: I have a complete and new service kit for the prop - see my other listing.
