The chances are that any other hatches of the same generation as yours will also be failing in the same way. Is there not a modern equivalent of the same size which you could use to replace whole portlights?
I had the same problem and mde the concious decision to replace them with new lewmar hatches. They are the same size.
If you initially replace a few then it will give you some spares.

Hi Andy! Would you mind sharing the sizes/styles of the new hatches you put in? Were you able to put them right in or did you have to do fiberglass work? Also would you mind sharing the approximate cost? Might need to go down this path as water is getting in from the one with the broken latch
I think from memory mine were lewmar size 0 and I paid around £180 each for them. If you measure yours they should conform to a current Lewmar size. My old ones were leaking and the previous owner had tried to stop the leaks with extra neoprene tape which did not work.
The old ones came out quite easily and I installed the new ones using buytal tape as the sealing compound. No fibreglass work, just a good clean up with white spirit and acetone.
