Our triducer (speed/depth/temperature) has decided to become a biducer - unfortunately it is the depth signal that has given up the ghost...
If anyone has a suitable replacement, please drop me a line. Happy for just speed and depth versions, as I know the water is cold, even here in Cornwall!
For reference, the current unit is an AIRMAR SMART TRI MULTISENSOR with code 20-433-01

Many thanks,
Alex

Alex,
It appears online that an AIRMAR SMART TRI MULTISENSOR is produced by both Garmin and Raymarine and they are compatible through NMEA with either manufaturer's instrumentation (maybe Furuno also) however the internet might be wrong.
There are units on ebay currently with various combinations of depth, speed and temp.

Thanks Jeff,

Most navigation systems use common transducers and airmar seem to be the most popular manufacturer used by the big names in electronics, including Garmin, Raymarine amd Furuno

Interestingly I have had many emails exchanges with Furuno technical support and they cannot tell me which of the airmar transducers will or won't work with my systems, so it's a bit of a guessing game on compatibility. l and I can't find any reliable information on what the model references mean.

I have seen the ones on eBay, but would rather buy from here first if possible, to keep things in the moody family and benefit from an undoubtedly more trustworthy seller!

Thanks
Alex
