The Culvineer was the last of 3 models based on the same hull, the 47, the 471 and the Culvineer. All very nice boats but only 31 were built of all 3 together so they are not easy to find.
In my personal view, the earlier 47 and 471 were better laid out down below than the Culvineer.
Hi Peter, thanks for your insights. I did see a 47 for sale of the same era (Aussie family with the yacht on Montenegro). The Culvineer I found has the same layout as that with centre aft cabin bed (unlike the Culvineer public documents which has the bed on the port side). I found that really interesting... maybe an earlier owner changed it. It looks good as a centreline bed in the aft cabin.
My surveyor is heading to see it soon. Let's see what he says.
