Calypso is a well maintained 3 cabin 2 heads tall fractional rig version that we have owned since 2013, setting off from Scotland in 2016 and fitting her out for part year liveaboard in Southampton on 2017. Mostly by highly regarded Osmotec, that work included holding tank, new plotter and radar, upgraded electrics and solar on an arch and a bow thruster to reduce stress when approaching a new marina in a blow! She is for sale as we are retiring from sailing.
She has low engine hours and in 2024 we replaced all standing rigging and the sail drive seal. We have always used reputable contractors for work, preferring to spend a little more than to have to turn around to deal with sub-standard work.
A very full inventory and photographs are available on request. Some information can be gleaned from our blog at www.calypsocapers.co.uk
She is now offered at the reduced price of £76,500. VAT is paid in either EU or UK but you would have to pay a full deposit in advance, sail her home and complete the purchase on arrival in UK to benefit from UK VAT paid status.
The berth in an excellent position in Lisbon is available if required (about £4,200 pa inclusive of electricity and water and you can live aboard in the marina). The Marina Parque Das Nacoes is about a 6-8 euro Uber from the airport and with excellent bars, shopping, leisure facilities and the train station all within a 25 minute walk. There is a lively strip of bars and restaurants next to the marina which are just far enough from the berth to have never kept us awake.
The photo is at Ribeira in the Spanish Rias where we spent 4 years exploring - buy Calypso and go there, it's probably the best sailing ground in the world (or THE best according to a couple returning to the UK from a 10 year double circumnavigation who we met at anchor).
