Folks: looking for a three leaf folding table that attaches to the Whitlock pedestal in our Moody. Anyone got one available? 07557 046291

They are available new from KJHowells at Poole. Might have deals at the Boat Show?

Dick; thanks for the note. Checked them out and looks first class albeit they don’t recommend attaching them to the pedestal. Too heavy apparently! I’ll see if the support arrangement can be “adjusted “

Hmmm just looked at their website, that table is very different to the one I bought from them a few years ago which is designed to fit the pedestal.

Donald...

You probably had a very quick read of this table..

And concentrated on the words 'not suitable..

I think that might have been referring to the extra large table option they now offer...

If you scroll further down the page...

Martin; you’re absolutely correct so huge thanks . Misread the description and so the smaller tables is indeed an option. Unfortunately not got the casting attached to the binnacle so a further eye watering £450 on top of the table top itself. £650-700 for a place to lay me coffee and sarnies is a bit steep.I reckon I’ll bodge something from some used teak.

Hi Donald,

If you look at post #20 on this thread: https://moodyowners.info/threads/cockpit-table.21350/#post-134080 it shows the arrangement we found on Wild Thyme when we bought her. The mounting, hinges etc. appear to have been fabricated in stainless by some previous owner, presumably to avoid the ludicrous cost of the Lewmar kit for this job. It has worked well for us for 13 years now.

Peter.

The other concurrent thread shows a solution where the KJ Howells mount is used, but a different table top is used.
